Q:

We want all children to be able to enjoy the sport safely, so let us know if your child will need any specialized equipment (e.g., sports goggles for eye protection, headgear for head protection). Specialized equipment must be cleared by the Club so that we may ensure the safe play of your child and the safety of other players. Soft braces to support knees and ankles are acceptable and do not need to be cleared by the Club.

Q:

Do I have to be there all the time when my child is playing?

It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian of a child to ensure that a person responsible for that child is present on the sidelines during the game. The coach is not responsible for parental supervision of your child, they are there to coach them and their teammates. Friends or spouses often share this supervisory responsibility when families have more than one child playing on the same night but in different age divisions.

All games start at 7:00pm during May, June and July. Age divisions playing on full fields (U14 and U18) start at 6:45pm in August while all other age divisions continue to start at 7:00pm. Games are normally played rain or shine unless there is extreme weather conditions. Cancellation of games prior to their start is made by the convenor at the field.
